Device

What is Get Out Now?

Get Out Now is an intelligently-designed, small, handy device that uses the principle of suction to give you instant relief from the irritation, pain, swelling and itching caused by insect bites (including mosquito bites) and stings. It draws out the irritant (insect saliva/venom) from under the skin, giving adults and children instant relief without the use of any cream or chemicals.

What is it made of?

Get Out Now is primarily made of high-grade skin-friendly polymer. It is therefore safe to use on virtually every kind of skin. However, since it works on the principle of suction, it should NOT be used on sensitive areas of the body, e.g., face and neck.

How does it work?

Get Out Now works on the principle of suction. By creating a pressure differential, it forces the venom/saliva to come out of the body without any injury to the skin.

For details, see the  How It Works section.

What is suction?

Suction is the process of causing a drop in air pressure in an area. It is often used to make something “flow” from another area into the low-pressure area.

How does Get Out Now provide relief without using any gel, cream or chemicals?

Since Get Out Now uses the principle of suction to physically draw out the irritant (insect saliva/venom) from under the skin, it removes the cause itself. Therefore, it does not need any external agent like gel, cream or chemicals.

Does it provide relief from the pain, swelling caused by mosquito bites?

Yes, Get Out Now provides instant relief from the pain, swelling, itching and irritation caused by mosquito bites.

Does it also work on bee stings and other insect/bug bites?

Besides mosquito bites, Get Out Now provides relief from the irritation caused by other insect/bug bites (e.g., ants). It can also be used to remove bee/wasp stings and provide relief.

Where does the venom/saliva go after it is pulled out?

The venom/saliva is pulled out by the process of suction and deposited in the suction cup. The amount is so tiny that it is often not visible to the naked eye. There is no chance of this going back into the skin.

What are splinters? How does Get Out Now help in removing splinters?

Splinters are very small needlelike objects (e.g., wood pieces, glass pieces). Sometimes, these get lodged inside the skin and cause pain. Get Out Now can help you extract the splinter out of the skin. Please see How It Works for details.
Important: in case of open wounds, do not use Get Out Now and consult a doctor immediately.

Usage

When should I use Get Out Now?

Get Out Now provides instant relief in case of insect bites (mosquitoes, ants, etc.) and bee/wasp stings. While the device could work even if used up to two hours after the bite, we recommend using it immediately after the bite or sting.

How do I use it in case of insect bites/stings?

Please see the How It Works section.

How much pressure should I apply while moving the handle up or down?

Move the handle up gradually until you feel the suction. This should never hurt. When the device is new, you may have to use a bit of extra pressure while pushing the handle down during the first few uses.

Does it hurt while using the device?

No. While you will feel the suction (the feeling of the skin being gently pulled up), it should never hurt.

How many times do I have to use the device on the bite area?

Depending on the severity of the bite, you may have to use the device 1-3 times till you experience relief.

How do I know if it’s working?

You will experience instant relief. The itching, irritation and swelling will reduce significantly.

I am not getting relief even after using it once. What could I be doing wrong?

For severe bites, you may have to repeat the suction 2-3 times over the bite area. Make sure that the suction cup sits tightly around the bite.
If using over body hair, wet the area before using the device. If the bite area is small, make sure that the smaller side of the suction cup is used over the bite.

How do I use it to remove splinters?

Please see How It Works.

Do I have to use any cream with it?

No. Get Out Now intelligently uses the principal of suction to pull out the irritant (insect saliva/venom) from under the skin. Therefore, it does not need any external agent like gel, cream or chemicals.

Can the same device be used by more than one person?

We recommend that each person uses a separate device. If the same device is used by multiple people, we recommend cleaning the suction cup with soap and cold water before being used by another person. Please ensure that the suction cup is dry before use.

Does the device need to be cleaned?

Only the suction cup needs to be cleaned periodically with soap and cold water in order to remove the traces of insect venom/saliva collected. Please ensure that the suction cup is dry before use. Make sure that you do not wet any other part of the device.

How should I store the device when not in use?

Move the handle to the top of the barrel when not in use and store in a dry place.

How long does the device last?

Since this is a device that does not have any chemicals or creams, it does not have an expiry date.

Safety

Who can use Get Out Now?

Anybody except infants. Get Out Now is designed to provide relief to people of all ages and skin types.

How does Get Out Now ensure that it is safe for the skin?

The question of the skin
reacting to external agents (e.g., cream or chemicals) does not arise because Get Out Now does not use any external
agent. The suction cup is the only part that comes in touch with the skin. The
part is made from high-grade skin-friendly polymer.

Can I use the device on sensitive skin?

While Get Out Now is suitable for all skin types, it should NOT be used on particularly sensitive areas (e.g., face, skin, infant bodies). If you have sensitive skin, start with the handle about half way or less and hold for 5-10 seconds.

Does it leave behind a mark on the skin?

For the suction mechanism to work properly, the suction cup holds on to the skin tightly when the handle is pulled up. Therefore, you will find a ring-like mark on the skin after removing the device. The mark goes away on its own after some time.

Is Get Out Now safe for children?

Yes, it is safe for children. However, DO NOT use it on infants.

Can children use it on their own?

Yes, it can be easily used by kids themselves. Train them on using the device correctly on different areas of the body and they should be able to start using it on their own. While going out to places where there are chances of being bitten by mosquitoes or other insects (gardens, parks, playgrounds, etc.), they could carry the device with them and use it when necessary.

Can it be used on infants?

No. We do not recommend using it on children below 5 years.

Can it be used on boils and pimples?

No. It should not be used on boils and pimples.

Can it be used on the face and neck?
